The farm

We are committed to offering our customers fresh and genuine products, grown right under our eyes and harvested at the right moment to ensure the maximum flavor and nutritional value.

Our choice to prioritize zero-kilometer products is not just a matter of quality but also a responsibility towards the environment and the local community. By reducing the distance between the farm and the table, we also reduce the environmental impact associated with transportation and promote conscious and sustainable consumption.

Farm-to-Table Products: The Authentic Taste of Our Land

At Agriturismo I Due Ghiri, we believe in farming that respects nature and embraces the slow, meaningful rhythm of the countryside. Every day, we grow, harvest, and bring to the table fresh, genuine ingredients, directly from our vegetable garden and small farm—a true farm-to-table experience in the heart of the Val di Vara.
From sweet ripe figs and juicy tomatoes to freshly picked zucchini flowers, free-range eggs, and the golden olives that give us our precious extra virgin olive oil—each product is grown and selected with care and passion.
We follow traditional farming methods, enriched by modern and sustainable agricultural practices. The result? Flavorful, nutrient-rich produce that reflects our deep bond with this land and brings the true taste of Liguria to your plate.
Our Vineyard: An Investment in the Future

In 2022, Stefano planted a small vineyard—less than one hectare—featuring local grape varieties such as Trebbiano, Vermentino, Albarola, and Bosco. This is a long-term project, which will begin to bear fruit in 4 to 6 years, with the aim of producing high-quality local wines that embody both our land and the identity of Agriturismo I Due Ghiri.

In 2022, Stefano planted a small vineyard of less than 1 hectare, which will start bearing fruit in about 4-6 years from its inception. The planted grape varieties include Trebbiano, Vermentino, Albarola, and Bosco. This vineyard represents an important investment for the future, with the aim of producing quality wines that will further enrich the offerings of our farm.

Our Little Farm: Nature, Animals, and Simplicity

The farm is the beating heart of our agricultural life. Chickens, geese, and peacocks roam freely among trees, meadows, and dry-stone walls that surround the property. We gather fresh eggs daily, but the real reward is watching the animals live freely and peacefully, a vital part of our natural environment.
Children will love meeting the animals up close—seeing how they move, what they eat, how they interact. It’s a special chance to connect with nature in an authentic and respectful way, and to rediscover the charm of life’s simple pleasures.
Even adults, away from the stress and noise of everyday life, can reconnect with the land, relax while observing farm life, or take a quiet walk through the trees listening to the calm of the countryside.
Staying at Agriturismo I Due Ghiri is about more than just accommodation—it’s a way to rediscover a slower, more human pace, where even a chicken scratching in the grass or a peacock basking in the sun becomes part of a scene that heals and inspires.
